One of my favorite things in the world is style. Style signifies a manner of doing something or a distinctive appearance. Style is everywhere. You’ll find it in music, books, art, food, cars, and in home decor. There are all types of home decor: Farmhouse, Victorian, Rustic, Traditional, Bohemian, Modern and much more. My favorite when it comes to my bedroom decor has been Minimalist with a twist of bohemian and a pinch of rustic because, well, I’m a Texan. A couple of years ago, I gave my bedroom a whole makeover. I painted my room white and I invested on a whole new bed mattress, headboard, new sheets, a duvet and a duvet cover, and I also bought a full size mirror from Ikea.
After the makeover, I noticed that I had lots of empty wall space and missing a few essentials like storage, organizers, decor and a nightstand. I went on Pinterest to find inspiration and found some great products that matched with my style and went straight to Amazon.com to find similar pieces at an affordable price. I managed to find 5 great products, each for less than $100 and I wanted to share with you all these great amazon finds that are great quality and affordable
1. Check out these Floating shelves
One of the areas in my room that needed decor was this empty wall space. I recently purchased a shelf unit from Ikea and placed it against the wall, but the wall space above was empty. I had two ideas for this section, the first one was hanging a gold rim round mirror or the second, floating shelves. I decided on purchasing shelves and I found these cute floating shelves in white with gold accents for $30 and I loved that they came in a set of three and were very easy to install.
After I installed them, I went crazy and added decor on them. For $30 dollars, the quality is great with the shelves and brackets being strong and sturdy and I have no issues with them.
2. Take a look at these Storage Bins
I purchased a shelf unit from Ikea that has four empty square spaces and I needed storage bins to fill them in. I have so many thing that needed to be stored away and these storage bins came in clutch. I found a four pack of 13×13 fabric bins with leather handles for $35 dollars and They are great quality bins. they are very sturdy and spacious and I love the leather handle details. each bin is stored with different items, like my starbucks tumblers, books, workout gear, and photography gear.
3. Okay, Seriously, This one is a goodie. Makeup and Perfume Organizer
Okay, so this item has got to be one of my favorites! I needed something to organize my makeup brushes and perfume since all of my body sprays, deodorants and brushes were spread out all over my dresser and it was taking up lots of space and looked hideous. I wanted an organizer that I could fit all of these items and I found this beautiful and spacious white round organizer with gold feet that gives that minimalistic but fabulous look, and the best part of it all, it rotates 360 degrees! I absolutely love how spacious this organizer is and after placing all of my beauty products, I still have additional space. I bought this for $18 dollars and i really love this organizer.
4. Ya’ll, these White Ceramic Vases and Pampas Faux Grass are a great combo!
To include some boho decor, I found these white matte ceramic doughnut shaped vases for $20 and the best part is they came in a set of two! I wanted hollow vases that I can place on my floating shelves and these did not dissapoint. they are the perfect sized vases and to top it off, I also bought some faux taupe and white pampas grass, added them in the vases and they look so good.
5. Last, but not least, check out this Mid Century Modern Nightstand
For the last great find, I desperately needed a nightstand. No, seriously. I didn’t have anything to support my essentials like my clock, lamp, electronics and my bible. I saw a few good options but none that didn’t impress me. I was seeking a small but functional and affordable nightstand and I found one that caught my attention. I found this nightstand for $70 dollars and it comes with a glass drawer and includes power outlets. The nightstand is 25.9”x16” so it is not big, but it fits well on my side of the bed. It has a power cord so that I can connect my chargers to the outlets and it does the job of charging my electronics. I love the glass design on the drawer and it is spacious. Although it is smaller than I thought, I like the functionality and the design.
Overall, these amazon finds have served their purpose and I’m glad I found them for a great price.
